Military Para Training

Sustut Air has equipped the Skyvan for specialty parachute operations. The Skyvan "Super Two" jump aircraft provides a unique training platform for the Canadian Forces, who have used the Skyvan to supplement their own aircraft for static line, freefall, confined area, night, and water jump training. The reliability of the Skyvan, combined with its exceptional climb, slow flight, and STOL performance allow it to be used for a wide range of parachute training excercises. The Skyvan provides a unique solution for parachute training when on-time, on-budget performance are priorities.

The large, in flight operable rear door of the Skyvan simulates larger military aircraft types and allows large groups of jumpers to exit the aircraft simultaneously. The Skyvan is a cost effective training platform for smaller groups and can be dispatched on short notice to suit any training schedule.

Recreational Skydiving

The Skyvan jumpship is also available for recreational skydiving events, skills camps, or boogies throughout Canada. With the upgraded engines, our Skyvan will bring 18 or more jumpers to 13000 feet in 10 minutes, allowing for very quick turnarounds and efficient DZ operations. It offers schools and event organizers the opportunity to offer a unique rear door jump experience, and move large groups of jumpers expediently and safely.
