There is no utility aircraft comparable to the Cessna Grand Caravan for versatility, speed, reliability and economy.  The caravan offers a 170 knot cruise speed that outpaces many retractable gear aircraft, yet it has a spacious cabin and cargo pod and a generous useful load that allow it to transport 3000 lbs or more (depending on mission) of passengers and / or freight.  Featuring rugged construction and oversized tires, the Grand Caravan is a natural for operations out of grass or gravel runways. 

The Caravan is a true 9 passenger aircraft, with ample payload for baggage and groceries.  The aircraft can quickly be converted for cargo or combination passenger / cargo operations.   The Caravan features 3 passenger exits, as well as a large cargo door that will accommodate large items, such as plywood and ATV's.  A huge 110 cubic foot cargo pod keeps the cabin area uncluttered, and allows loads to be easily divided.  There is no other aircraft of a comparable size that can approach the price per pound economy of the Grand Caravan.  This is the ideal aircraft for crew transport and camp moves.

Comfort and Safety:

The Caravan has been designed to provide a high level of passenger comfort, safety and reliability.  Each passenger is provided with a window seat, shoulder harness, reading light, and vent air.  The aircraft offers good visibility to every passenger, a wide passenger aisle and convenient air stair doorway.  The cabin noise level is very low.  The aircraft is equipped with a GPS, Satellite Phone, Satellite Tracking, Survival and First Aid Kits, and a Forestry Radio.
